Spring Tour!!!

As the frozen tundra of the north shows no signs of a thaw, we set sails southward, for sunnier southern european days and nights. A great spring tour gets underway starting on April 24th in Budapest, and see´s Rebekka and the band go from Wien to Dublin, Brighton to Prague. And everywhere in between. Check the live dates for a city near you. Come on Spring!!!

Rebekka is on a UK/IRELAND Tour!

Happy Holidays and Thank You for 2012!

My hometown, Stockholm, is buried in a white, soft blanket of snow, making everything silent and beautiful. It’s been snowing so heavily lately that the public transportations went down, the whole city stopped and everyone had to walk home with heavy feet and snowflakes in their eyelashes. A struggle for many – but it also created an unique tempo drop all over town, people lifted their heads and looked each other in the eyes, smiled, or shared a humorous word about the crazy weather.

I am finally home, trying to land after months of work and intense weeks of touring.
It has been an amazing year for my music and I, with reviews and acknowledgement far above expectations, crowned by MOJO Magazine putting the album on their top ten of 2012 list. Next year will be just as adventurous, with a UK tour in January, a new round in Scandinavia in March, and then we’re coming back to Europe in May. The festivals are also ticking in, so we are very exited and thrilled to share the live show even more!
But for now I intend to take a long break. I’m going to Norway to see my family. I’m gonna go skiing, stare into the fire, maybe read a book and spend time with the ones I love most of all in this world. That’s Christmas for me.

I’d like to make a little wish for the next year.
There are two things we need to care more about next year; People and Nature.
In a time where humans are forced to immigrate or escape from their own country due to war, starvation and nature catastrophies, it is important to support those who work with human rights, globally. Instead of buying more gadgets we really do not need, maybe we can give gifts to eachother by supporting for example Amnesty International http://www.amnesty.org/
And in the end, what secures the basic need of humans – is Nature. We are using up the global recourses way too fast, and I am not the only one deeply worried about Mother Earth’s future. Lets join forces and awareness to protect our precious planet.
The World Wildlife Fund does great work, and are worth supporting:

Thank you all, for your enthusiasm and love. For letting me know what my songs mean to you. It matters more than you can imagine.
Hope to see you again next year, somewhere, out there!

Love,
Rebekka
